Week 17 NFL picks: Ravens beat Dolphins in game of the week; Buccaneers win fifth straight.

Sunday morning looked well for my picks. I thought I'd have a good week after sweeping the six games. Coal went in my stocking.

Some games went bad, and it got worse. I was 6-10 against the spread and 10-6 straight up, neither impressive. That makes my ATS record 116-113-11 and straight-up record 146-94.

Two weeks till the playoffs to fix my problems. Like the teams, I must improve before the playoffs. The Browns are dominating and Joe Flacco has them near the playoffs.

Despite losing a huge lead, the Jets beat the Commanders last week. Jets quarterbacks will struggle against the Browns defence. The Browns are gaining, but the Jets will stay close.

Cowboys have dropped two straight yet are still in the playoffs. The Lions won the division last week but are playing for seeding.

Dallas returns home after three weeks as Detroit plays consecutive road games. After two losses, expect the Cowboys to bounce back with a strong offence and defence.

This game of the week might determine the AFC top seed and MVP between Tua Tagovailoa and Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have blown out decent teams, but not here. Miami will fight, but I predict the Ravens defence will win with a late stop.
