The Next On Netflix presentation recently presented the lineup of movies and TV shows that will premiere new seasons in 2024.
Stranger Things' penultimate season was not included in the slate, with the main cause for the delay being the 2023 Hollywood writer and actor strikes,
as well as the amount of time required for post-production VFX work on the series. Stranger Things' final season began production earlier this month
but it appears that fans will have to wait until 2025 to watch it, resulting in a three-year gap between Seasons 4 and 5.
Although precise release dates have yet to be announced, Netflix's future lineup includes the second season of The Night Agent, the sixth and final
season of Cobra Kai, the fourth season of Emily in Paris, and the fourth season of Outer Banks. The second installment in Ryan Murphy's true-crime anthology series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
The wait for Season 5 of Stranger Things continues. Stranger Things co-creator Matt Duffer has already stated that the creative team wants the show's final set of episodes to return to its first-season roots.
"This season - it's like season one on steroids," Duffer recently told The Guardian of the show's final season. "It's the biggest it's ever been in terms of scale, but it's been really great
