NBA All-Star Teams 2024: Opening Night, Benchmarks, Standout Picks, and Response

Jalen Brunson, Stephen Curry, and Kawhi Leonard lead the 2024 NBA All-Star reserves, with Tyrese Maxey and Paolo Banchero earning their first All-Star nods.

Brunson's impressive season with the New York Knicks secures his first All-Star appearance, averaging 26.8 points and 6.5 assists.

Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers, filling the void after the James Harden trade, also earns his first All-Star selection.

Orlando Magic's Paolo Banchero, the reigning Rookie of the Year, secures a spot with his consistent performance, averaging 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Kawhi Leonard returns to the All-Star Game after missing out in the previous seasons due to injuries, showcasing a strong performance with a 23.9-point average.

The top-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves boast two All-Stars in Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns.

In the West, tough competition for limited spots results in notable omissions, including rookies Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama, and experienced players like De'Aaron Fox and Kyrie Irving.

The 2024 All-Star Game will return to the classic East vs. West format, scheduled for Feb.
