Lainey Wilson Discusses Her Busy Year and Love for Miranda Lambert on CMT's 'On the Road'

The country artist debuts in CMT's web series 'On the Road,' launching Wednesday.

Lainey Wilson knows to "Never Say Never," given her year-long career.

The 31-year-old country artist appears on CMT's latest edition of On the Road, a digital interview and documentary series that gives fans unprecedented access to country music's top stars.

 The frank episode, released Wednesday on CMT's YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook pages, follows Wilson on her four-night Virgin Theater residency in Las Vegas in December 2023.

The Grammy-nominated artist describes her rapid rise since 2022's Bell Bottom Country as being "on a rocket" and how she stays grounded by surrounding herself with supporters and believing in herself in the 18-minute On the Road.

"I always think back to a time of my life where I wish I was busy, I wish people were noticing me or my music and I was praying for opportunities," 

she says in the episode, which details her busy schedule of meet-and-greets, brand efforts, and interviews. "Whenever I think, 'Man, how much more do I have to give?'
