The Cowboys' injury report lists Zack Martin and Tyron Smith as out.

At the ideal moment in the season, the Dallas Cowboys are competing at a high level in the sport of football.  

For Dak Prescott, who has a record of 19-6 in December throughout the course of his career, this is nothing out of the ordinary. 

In order for the Cowboys and Prescott to be able to dislodge the Eagles as the NFC East division champs, they will need to continue their winning ways despite the fact that they have a challenging schedule coming up in the near future.  

The Cowboys held their second practice of the week, and the following is an update on the progress of the squad in terms of their injury condition. 

While Zack Martin was sitting out practice and resting, the Cowboys made the decision to give him another day off. He joined Tyron Smith in this decision. Over the past two weeks,  

Rico Dowdle has been having difficulty due to an ankle ailment, and as a result, he has been a limited participant in practice. Meanwhile, Peyton Hendershot and Matt Waletzko were both actively participating in the practice that took place on Thursday. 

Within the context of the Eagles' injury situation, Zach Cunningham was unable to participate in practice on Thursday. Due to a hamstring injury, 

Cunningham was unable to participate in the Eagles' game against the San Francisco 49ers; however, he has stated that he will be participating in the game this week.
