Netflix Adds 1974 Classics Chinatown, The Conversation, and Blazing Saddles

Netflix launches Milestone Movies: The Anniversary collection for 1974 classics turning 50. 

U.S. viewers can stream anniversary titles starting January; special screenings begin in March. 

– Featured films include Roman Polanski’s “Chinatown” and Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Conversation.”

– Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles,” Martin Scorsese’s “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore,” and more are part of the collection.

– Special screenings at New York’s Paris Theater and L.A.’s Egyptian and Bay Theaters.

– “Black Belt Jones” by Robert Clouse, “California Split” by Robert Altman also in the lineup.

– Notable cast members include Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, Robert Duvall, Harrison Ford, and Jodie Foster.

Michael Winner’s “Death Wish” with Charles Bronson completes the list of 1974 classics streaming on Netflix.
