Kellyoke revisits Kelly Clarkson's 1990s Gin Blossoms:

On the Wednesday, December 7 broadcast of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly Clarkson sang Gin Blossoms' "Found Out About You," taking her latest Kellyoke cover back to the '90s.

"Just in case you don't remember, all last summer/ You were mine, and I was yours.

Ignore everything. Is there a sentence I could compose that would be somber enough to bring you to tears? And all those sentences you penned to me were lies,

she charges over the jangling instrumentation of her house band in the opening verses of the alt-rock hit.

The song was initially recorded for Gin Blossoms' 1989 self-titled debut album Dusted and then appeared on and was made available as a single from their 1992 breakthrough album New Miserable Experience.

The album went multi-platinum at the time because to the success of the song, which was first disregarded by both fans and reviewers.

Before "Til I Hear It From You" and "Follow You Down" reached No. 5 in the mid-'90s,

"Found Out About You" was the band's highest charting success on the Pop Airplay chart, peaking at No. 6.

Never expect Outlander Season 8 in 2024.
