Hallmark stars react Candace Cameron Bure's Landmark exit:  'It Was Just A Good Excuse'

Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark for Great American Family over a year ago.

Hallmark's 2023 holiday movies have drawn crowds despite her departure. Many Hallmark celebs have discussed Bure's historic exit.

She had been on the network since 2008 thanks to the Aurora Teagarden series and vacation flicks before her sudden 2022 departure.

She said Hallmark was “a completely different network” after Bill Abbott left. Thankfully, other stars have filled her role.

Hallmark hunks Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell have appeared in movies. Vulture asked Three Wise Men and a Baby stars about the TV icon's exit.

Every major departure has a backstory. Walker mentioned Candace Cameron Bure moving for greener pastures, but Hallmark executives and the actress may have had more going on.

She helped Hallmark succeed, but as GAF's chief content officer, the Full House alum gets more involved.

However, her departure may have been due to the executive job rather than leadership changes.
