A woman shared a video about her herpes diagnosis on a secret TikTok account. Then, 10 million people watched it.

In a video she posted to her burner TikTok account on October 12, Sophie Miller stated, "Today my whole life could change. I never expected anyone to see it." "And I'm scared."

Miller reported that she had seen a large lymph node in her groin area and that she had been feeling burning when she urinated.

She claimed that after taking medicine for a UTI initially, her gynecologist was consulted.

About an hour before her checkup, Miller told Business Insider, she sat down and began filming the video because she had seen sores on her genitalia and was getting concerned.

She claimed that she was in excruciating agony and could hardly sit or walk. She said, "It sucked."

She claimed that she had been researching her symptoms, believing that she was just making herself anxious and that this was one of those cases where Dr. Google suggests the worst case scenario.

"Then I went to the doctor, and she was like, yeah, no, you have herpes," Miller recalled. "And then I just went into shock."

Miller started spiraling right away. What did this portend for her relationships going forward? Who would want to share a bed with her once more?

"If somebody told me that they had herpes two weeks before my diagnosis, I probably wouldn't have pursued them,"
