“$60,000,000! You Ain’t Getting That Back!”: Ja Morant’s Father Gets Words of Advice From Stephen A Smith Following 25-Game Suspension

Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith made an appearance on the most recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast before the two made their ESPN First Take debut.

In the almost two-hour show, the two covered a wide range of subjects. At one point,

Ja Morant's $60,000,000 loss as a result of the Instagram Live incident was briefly brought up by Sharpe and Smith.

Stephen A. offered some guidance to Tee Morant, a father to another, when his son was suspended by the NBA for 25 games.

Ja Morant faced criticism for an act he committed in Denver earlier in the year. The star of the Memphis Grizzlies was spotted flashing a gun while at a bar.

He was immediately suspended by the league for the remaining eight games of the season.

Later, Morant was showing off a gun in an Instagram Live video. Adam Silver made the decision to punish the young player this time with a considerably more expensive fine:

a 25-game suspension. In addition to losing out on nearly a third of the season, the 2020 Rookie of the Year will have $7.6 million taken out of his pay.

Never expect Outlander Season 8 in 2024.
